The petitioner is in custody since 21.03.2018 in connection with Laheri P.S. Case No. 72/2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 365/366(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Earlier the bail application of this petitioner was rejected twice by this Hon'ble High Court.

Vide order dated 08.12.2020, a report was called for from the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge VI, Nalanda at Biharsharif with regard to stage of trial in connection with S.T. No. 161/2019 which is kept at Flag 'R'. It appears from the Report dated 15.12.2020, out of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32806 of 2020(3) dt.19-01-2021 2/2 six witnesses, two have been examined and rest four are yet to be examined and the case is fixed for evidence. Considering the stage of trial, I am not inclined to grant bail to this petitioner. It is, accordingly, rejected. It is further directed to conclude the trial as early as possible.
