2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 399/402/353/307 of the Indian Penal Code, sections 25(1-B)(a), 26/27 and 35 of the Arms Act and sections 8/20(b)ii (B)/29 of the NDPS Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, on secret information, a raid was conducted and four persons were apprehended with arms and ammunition. They disclosed name of the petitioner who managed to flee away from the place of incident.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner's name has figured during course of investigation in confessional statement of co-accused. No incriminating article has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32985 of 2023(2) dt.24-07-2023 2/2 for bail. He submits that petitioner is named in the FIR, his name was disclosed by apprehended accused persons and he has got criminal antecedent of similar nature.

6. Considering these facts, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
