The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

45 liters of country-made Mahua liquor has been recovered from a street situated near the house of petitioner. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that nothing has been recovered from the possession or premises of this petitioner and petitioner has got no concern with the alleged recovery.

However, learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that petitioner has got one criminal antecedent of similar nature.
