The petitioner is in custody in connection with Sheohar P.S. Case No. 212 of 2018 for the offences under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioner is that petitioner was involved in illegal withdrawal of the amount from the bank account of the informant.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and the petitioner is Sweeper in the bank. He further submits that the name of the petitioner was surfaced on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Akash Kumar and he is in custody since 19.02.2019.
