In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No. 541 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 306, 120(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is to have abated the deceased for committing suicide by setting herself on fire and ultimately she died on account of burn injury. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is aged about 17 years and as such he is minor.
