2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 2(E), 3, 5(D), 18 of Mahua Flower Act 2006 and Section 47(F)/13(F)/48 of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act registered in connection with Barachatti (Mohanpur) P.S. Case No. 297 of 2015.
3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated merely because he happens to be the owner of the truck from which 600 Kgs of Mahua was seized. The petitioner claims clean antecedents.
4. Having regard to the nature of accusations, gravity of offence alleged, as well as huge quantity of Mahua seized from the vehicle of this petitioner who is said to the owner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him. The anticipatory bail petition stands dismissed.
