The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 304(B), 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case of dowry death. Petitioner alongwith other F.I.R. named accused persons killed the daughter of the informant due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. Petitioner happens to be father-in-law of the deceased. Thrust of the accusation is against husband of the deceased, who is already in custody and petitioner has been made accused only because he is father of husband of deceased. There is general and omnibus allegation. Petitioner is separate in mess & property and has got no concern with the family affairs of deceased and her husband.

No.32844 of 2022(2) dt.14-11-2022 2/2 However, learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposed the bail petition and submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R. and he alongwith other family members committed the murder of daughter of informant. Considering the fact that petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased, allegation of demand of dowry is general and omnibus as well as the fact that husband of the deceased, against whom there is specific allegation, is in custody, let the above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., Hilsa, Nalanda / concerned court in connection with Nagarnausa P.S.
