The petitioner Sadan Singh @ Sajjan Singh seeks bail in Maheshkhunt P.S. Case No. 35 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Section 307 and Section of the Indian Penal Code and under different Sections of the Arms Act. S.I. of police made allegation that he along with other on secret information surrounded the miscreants, but the miscreants opened firing and thereafter fled away. The informant himself disclosed that the Chowkidar disclosed name of the petitioner and other accused persons. From the place of occurrence arms and ammunitions were recovered.

It appears that the petitioner was not apprehended on the spot and nothing has been recovered from his possession.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.31115 of 2014 (3) dt.12-01-2015 Name of the petitioner disclosed by Chowkidar. Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that the petitioner is in jail since 06.05.2014, he is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khagaria in connection with Maheshkhunt P.S. Case No. 35 of 2014.
