====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 02-12-2020 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the State.

The petitioners seek bail in connection with Narpatganj (Ghurna) P. S. Case No. 326 of 2020 dated 19.07.2020, corresponding to Special Case No 570 of 2020, instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31363 of 2020(2) dt.02-12-2020 2/3 186 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from a car which is said to have been occupied by the petitioners and another person who managed to escape.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that they are persons of clean antecedents and the vehicle does not belong to them. In fact, the petitioners have been arrested while coming from Nepal after attending a family function. They had taken a lift in the vehicle which was intercepted by the police and recovery of liquor was made from that vehicle. Considering the period of custody of the petitioners which is from 20.07.2020, the petitioners, above-named, are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge cum Special Judge, Araria, in connection with Narpatganj (Ghurna) P. S. Case No.
