JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 02-03-2021 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Chausa P.S. Case No. 68 of 2020 registered for the offences under Sections 302, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

In this case, case diary was called for vide order dated 08.01.2021.

On perusal of the materials available in the case diary, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner. The prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected at this stage.

No.31011 of 2020(3) dt.02-03-2021 2/2 However, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at the earliest, preferably within a period of nine months from today, failing which, the Court below shall release the petitioner on appropriate terms and conditions and submit failure report to the Registrar (Vigilance) of this Court. With the aforesaid observation/direction, the application stands rejected.
