25-10-2021 Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner seeks bail in Bikram P.S. Case No. 193 of 2020, S.Tr.No. 383 of 2021, registered for the offence under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, this petitioner alongwith other accused persons committed torture and caused death of the daughter of the informant.

Petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased. There is general and omnibus allegation of demand of dowry and assault. Petitioner is living separately in his ancestral house and has got no concern with the family affairs of deceased and her husband. The husband of the deceased is already in judicial custody. Petitioner is an old aged person and is in custody since 21.06.2020.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41717 of 2021(2) dt.25-10-2021 2/2 Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the bail petition of petitioner is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge III, Danapur (Patna) in connection with Bikram P.S. Case No. 193 of 2020, S.Tr.No. 383 of 2021.
