2. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to pay all dues of the petitioner earned as an employee of the post of Contractual Clerk in the department of District Disaster Management Branch, Lakhisarai from 09.09.2016 to 08.12.2016.

3. A counter affidavit has been filed by the respondents, wherein vide Annexure R-2/8, it has been indicated that the remuneration of the petitioner for the period mentioned above has been paid, which is to the tune of Rs.50,756=00.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner by referring to

Patna High Court CWJC No.8557 of 2023(3) dt.07-02-2024 2/2 the prayer of the petitioner made in the writ petition, namely, "all dues" submits that the petitioner may also be paid the interest on the aforesaid remuneration paid to the petitioner.

Since the remuneration due to the petitioner for the period mentioned above has been paid, this writ petition is disposed of with a liberty granted to the petitioner to submit an application/representation to the appropriate authority for payment of the interest on the amount of remuneration paid to the petitioner as indicated hereinabove.

6. As and when the said application/representation is submitted by the petitioner to the respondents/authorities for payment of interest thereon, the respondents authorities shall consider the same and dispose it of in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of receipt of such application/representation.
