The writ application has been filed for a direction to the respondents to pay death-cum-retiral dues to the mother of the petitioner who died in harness on 02.02.2012. In this connection, a counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondent no.4 the Executive Officer, Nagar Panchayat, Dalsing Sarai, District-Samastipur in which it has been stated that the Nagar Panchayat has already intimated the petitioner vide letter no.1050 dated 26.09.2017 to submit the succession certificate relating to the mother of the petitioner, namely, Sumitra Devi.

Patna High Court CWJC No.10316 of 2017(3) dt.10-05-2019 2/2 In the aforesaid facts and circumstances, petitioner is directed to submit the necessary succession certificate to the respondent no.4 the Executive Officer, Nagar Panchayat, Dalsing Sarai, District-Samastipur and after receipt of the same, it is expected that after verifying the same the admitted deathcum-retiral dues shall be paid to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of production of succession certificate by the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
