JUSTICE RAJAN GUPTA) 04-07-2022 The instant petition has been filed in the nature of public interest for a direction to the respondents to conduct fair and speedy investigation in Mungyer Town PS Case No. 74 of 2014 dated 02.03.2014 which was registered under Sections 406/409/420/467/468/471/120B of the IPC; under Sections 7/12/13(1)(c)(d)/14 of the PC Act and under Sections 65/66(ii)/66(d)/72 of I.T. Act, 2000.

At the outset, learned counsel appearing for the respondent no. 4, i.e., the Economic Offence Wing(EOW), has

Learned counsel further assures the Court that the investigation shall be taken to its logical end and final report under Section 173(2) shall be filed before the competent Court at the earliest, in any case not later than three months.

In view of the statement made above, no further adjudication of the matter is necessary. Accordingly, the application stands disposed of.
