The petitioner is in custody in connection with Complaint Case No.C2 172 of 2019 for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 03.04.2019. He further submits that in the instant case total 540 liters of Nepali liquor was seized from Mahendra Renold Logan Car. He further submits that he is neither owner of the said vehicle nor owner of the liquor seized and he was not connected with the trade of liquor.
