ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL ORDER 09-01-2015 Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the State. The Petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted for the offence under Sections 364A, 302 and 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Considering the nature of material which has transpired against the Petitioner during investigation, I am not inclined to grant bail to the Petitioner in connection with Sessions Trial No. 59 of 2014 arising out of Bettiah (Town) P.S. Case No. 572 of 2013 pending before Adhoc Additional Sessions JudgeIVth, Bettiah, West Champaran. The prayer for bail is rejected.
The Trial Court is directed to expedite the Trial for
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.31698 of 2014 (3) dt.09-01-2015 2/2 which reason he is directed to send a list of the witnesses fixing specific dates for each witnesses for their examination along with a copy of this order to the Superintendent of Police concerned, who is directed to ensure the attendance of the witnesses on the date fixed by the Trial Court so that there is no further delay in the Trial.
