The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148,149, 341, 323, 307, 353, 354-B, 332, 333, 337, 338, 427, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Prevention of Damage Property Act.

Prosecution case in short is that the petitioner created obstruction to the Police in discharge of their official duty and also damaged the public property.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that another co-accused Dhurv Thakur @ Dhirendra Thakur @ Dhiru Thakur has been granted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41872 of 2021(2) dt.22-03-2022 2/2 anticipatory bail a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 17.11.2021 passed in Cr. Misc. No.12558 of 2021 and coaccused Anil Rai @ Anil Kumar Rai has been granted anticipatory bail by this Court, vide order dated 20.12.2021 passed in Cr. Misc. No.20561 of 2021. Petitioner has criminal antecedent.

Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Pupri, Sitamarhi in connection with Choraut P.S.Case No.69 of 2020, corresponding to GR No.1075/2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
