In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Maheshkhunt P.S. Case No. 35 of 2019, G.R. No. 740 of 2019 registered for offence punishable under section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition Excise Act, 2016.

It has been alleged that 60 litres of mahua liquor has been recovered from the house of petitioner.

Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and accordingly his prayer for bail is rejected.
