2 The petitioner apprehends arrest in Farbesganj PS Case No 498 of 2022 dated 09.05.2022 registered for the offence punishable under Section 392 of Indian Penal Code. 3 As per the prosecution case, two unknown miscreants, on the point of gun, stopped the motorcycle of the informant and snatched the bag containing cash and the motorcycle.

4 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not named in the FIR. During the course of investigation, on the confessional statement of co-accused, the name of petitioner has surfaced.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32946 of 2023(4) dt.29-08-2023 2/2 5 Learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail. It is submitted that petitioner has got four criminal antecedents.

6 Considering the nature of accusation and criminal antecedents, I do not find it a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail. The same is rejected.
