2. The instance application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Nawanagar P.S. Case No. 179 of 2023 instituted for the offence u/s 376, 313, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3(1)(r)(s), 3(2)(v) of the SC/ST Act and section 4 of the POCSO Act.

3. Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by order dated 6.11.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 53325 of 2023 with a direction to expedite the trial.

4. In pursuance to the direction of this Court, a report dt. 24.5.2024 with regard to the present stage of trial has been received by which it appears that the trial is likely to be concluded within a period of six months.

5. No fresh ground is made for reconsideration of the regular bail application of the petitioner, as such, his prayer is rejected.

6. Accordingly, this application stands disposed off.

7. However, learned trial court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial within a period of six months, failing which the petitioner may renew his prayer of bail. (Sunil Kumar Panwar, J) Amandeep/- U T
