====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 13-04-2022 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant and learned APP for the State.

Let the defect(s) be removed within two weeks of the complete start of the physical Court in normal course. Petitioner, who is in custody since 10.05.2021, seeks regular bail in connection with Uchakagaon P.S. Case No. 140 of 2021 registered for offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 447, 307, 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Considering the serious nature of allegation made against the petitioner as well as the stage of trial as informed by 1st Additional Sessions Judge, Gopalganj, vide Letter No. 141

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41914 of 2021(6) dt.13-04-2022 2/2 dated 07.03.2022 that trial may be concluded within 9 months, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage. The Court below is directed to conclude the trial expeditiously well within a period of nine months. If no substantial progress takes place in conduct of trial, the petitioner, if so advised, may renew his prayer for bail after the aforesaid period.

Accordingly, the present bail application is disposed of.
