This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Riga P.S. Case No. 140 of 2023, registered under section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is recovery of 156 litres of illegal liquor from a car. The petitioner is in custody since 31.03.2023.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Excise Court No.-1, Sitamarhi in connection with Riga P.S. Case No. 140 of 2023.

The petitioner will visit Punaura Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
