The petitioner seeks bail in Mahua P.S. Case No. 268 of 2020, registered for the offence under Section 307 & other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is alleged to have assaulted the grandson of the informant by means of sharp cutting weapon.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that the grandson of informant received three injuries, out of which, two have been found to be simple in nature caused by 'hard & blunt substance', and injury no. 3 has been stated to be simple caused by sharp cutting weapon. Petitioner is in custody since 07.04.2021.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42195 of 2021(3) dt.13-01-2022 2/2 Learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel for informant opposed the bail petition. Learned counsel for the informant submits that petitioner has got criminal antecedent also and he is accused in two more cases.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as period of custody, the bail petition of petitioner is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Mahua P.S. Case No. 268 of 2020.
