1. Heard the parties

2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Special Case No. 10 of 2026 arising out of By-pass P. S. Case No. 234 of 2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 96 and 3(5) of the B.N.S.

3. The main submissions advanced by the petitioner's counsel are that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case, there was a love affair in between the petitioner and the victim who herself voluntarily went to the house of the petitioner's maternal grand father and the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and has been languishing in jail since 10.05.2025 and further the investigation has been completed. It

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31990 of 2026(2) dt.12-05-2026 2/2 is additionally contended that both the parties have amicably settled the dispute outside the court and a joint compromise petition has also been filed before the learned court below.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the bail prayer of the petitioner.

5. In the facts and circumstances of this case and considering the statements made in the petition as well as above submissions, coupled with the petitioner's custody period and completion of investigation as well as the stage of the trial of the petitioner, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail, accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be enlarged on bail in connection with Special Case No. 10 of 2026 arising out of By-pass P. S. Case No. 234 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned.
