This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with G.R. No. 521 of 2023 arising out of Basopatti P.S. Case No. 74 of 2023 registered under sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that there is recovery of 387 litres of illicit liquor. The petitioners are in custody since 04.04.2023 and they have clean antecedent. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for

Considering the nature of allegations levelled against the petitioners and the petitioners have clean antecedent, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let both the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on each of them furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II -cumSpecial Judge, Excise Act, Madhubani in connection with G.R. No. 521 of 2023 arising out of Basopatti P.S. Case No. 74 of 2023.
