The petitioner is in judicial custody in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No.463 of 2022 instituted under Sections 363,365,366(A),504,506/34 of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 25.06.2022 by the informant Md. Malek.

As per the FIR, the allegation against accused person is of kidnapping of the informant's minor daughter. Subsequently the girl was recovered and in her 164 Cr.P.C. statement she has supported the prosecution story and has later narrated that this petitioner kept her in a room for seven days and committed rape.
