Yadaw, learned G.P.23 through video conferencing. The petitioner in this writ petition seeks direction to the respondents, Principal Secretary, Department of Education, Government of Bihar/Director, Secondary Education, Government of Bihar to pay the leave encashment to the petitioner who retired from an aided school.

Mr. M.P. Yadaw, learned G.P.23 submits that the State has already taken a policy decision to give leave encashment to such teachers who were working in aided schools and retired from such schools.

Patna High Court CWJC No.14451 of 2017(6) dt.21-09-2020 2/2 In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the State, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the petitioner to file representation before the Principal Secretary, Department of Education, Government of Bihar within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order and after having received such representation, the Principal Secretary, Department of Education, Government of Bihar shall dispose of the representation of the petitioner, in the light of the policy decision of the State of Bihar taken with regard to similarly situated retired teachers of aided schools, within two months from the date of receipt of such representation.
