The petitioner is an intermediate college in the name and style of 'Baba Bhuthnath Intermediate College', Avsani, Bagaha-2, West Champaran. The Secretary of the College filed the present writ application for a direction to the Bihar School Examination Board for grant of affiliation of Intermediate

Patna High Court CWJC No.13770 of 2017(7) dt.21-04-2023 2/3 course in the college. Earlier after inspection, the District Education Officer pointed out certain deficiency vide letter No. 70 dated 19.2.2023.

Learned counsel for the petitioner referring to Annexure-16 of the supplementary affidavit submits that vide letter dated 31.3.2023 the petitioner college has informed the Board regarding the removal of all the defects/irregularities pointed out by the District Education Oficer. The prayer of the petitioner college is that in view of the deficiency having been removed by the petitioner, the Bihar School Examination Board may be directed to take a final decision upon the affiliation of the college at the earliest so that the admission process of the current session 2023-24 may be started by the college. Mr. Manish Kumar learned counsel for the Bihar School Examination Board submits that the report of the District Education Officer has been received by the Board on 17.4.2023.

Now, the Affiliation Committee as well as the Bihar School Examination Board shall take a decision regarding the grant of affiliation to the college within a reasonable time.

Patna High Court CWJC No.13770 of 2017(7) dt.21-04-2023 3/3 the respondent/Board as well as its Affiliation Committee to take a final decision regarding affiliation of college in question within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

With this observation and direction, this writ application stands disposed of.
