JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 17-01-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in in a case registered for the offence under Section 304(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. It is a case of dowry death. As per the prosecution case, the daughter of the informant was married with co-accused Ajeet Mandal four years back and after the marriage, this petitioner alongwith other FIR named accused persons started demanding dowry and due to non-fulfillment of the same, she was killed by the accused persons.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased and has got no concern with the affairs of the deceased. Petitioner is living separately in Punjab with his family. There is general and omnibus allegation Petitioner is in custody since 22.01.2021, having no criminal

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the bail petition of petitioner is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J.M. 1st Class, Muzaffarpur in connection with Katra P.S.
