This application has been filed for cancellation of regular bail granted to the opposite party no.2 by the learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Nalanda vide order dated 20.03.2025 passed in B.P. No.237 of 2025, in connection with Sohsarai P.S. Case No.322 of 2024 registered for the offence under sections 80, 103 and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023.

I have considered the submissions of the parties and perused the material on record. From the records of the case, it appears that the deceased had committed suicide and
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31129 of 2025(5) dt.16-07-2026 2/2 on the date and time of occurrence the opposite party no.2 was working as Constable in Patna Police and when he reached to his house, the police arrested him. Considering this fact, the Court below has granted bail to the opposite party no.2. Therefore, I am of the view that there is no illegality or infirmity in the impugned order granted bail to the opposite party no.2. 4.
Accordingly, this application is rejected.

It is, however, clarified that the observations made herein are limited to the adjudication of the present application and this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
