The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Ben P. S. Case No. 145 of 2018 registered under Sections 30/30(a)/35(a)/35(b)/38(1) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Considering recovery of huge quantity of illicit liquor from the house of the petitioner as also the fact that the petitioner has been made accused in three other cases of identical nature, I am not inclined to grant him bail even though he is in custody since 08.04.2019. The prayer for bail is rejected for the present.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial after charge-sheet is submitted.
