2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sare P.S. Case No. 124 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code but the charge-sheet has been submitted under Sections 304B, 498A, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of killing his wife.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the deceased has committed suicide and the same is apparent from the FIR. The petitioner is in custody since 17.11.2022.

5. Relying on a report sent by the trial Court dated 22.8.2024, learned counsel for the petitioner has also submitted that out of eight charge-sheeted witnesses, only one witness has been examined.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and the period of custody, this application is allowed.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District Judge-VIII, Nalanda at Biharsharif in connection with Sare P.S.
