2. The petitioner, who is in custody since 21.03.2025, seeks regular bail in connection with Chainpur P.S. Case No. 48 of 2025 registered for the offence under Sections 70(1), 329(4), 115(1), 352, 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections 4/6 of the POCSO Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner along with co-accused Vikash Kumar has committed rape with the minor victim.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is delay in lodging the FIR and the allegations are false.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the allegations that the petitioner and co-accused Vikas has committed rape upon the minor victim, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is hereby rejected.
