The petitioner seek pre-arrest bail in connection with Chakiya P.S. Case No.145 of 2018 registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Considering the allegation that the petitioner was indulged in manufacture of illicit wine and certain recoveries were also made, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. The application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected. In case, the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail the same shall be considered on its own merits without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
