This Application has been filed for transfer of Matrimonial (Divorce) Case No. 52 of 2017 from the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Darbhanga to the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Begusarai.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the marriage between petitioner and opposite party was solemnized in the year 2015 and the petitioner was being tortured by her husband and her in-laws and thereafter, the

Patna High Court MJC No.2697 of 2017 dt.04-07-2022 2/3 Matrimonial Case for divorce was filed by opposite party. It has also been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has no source of income and she is not getting any maintenance from opposite party and some how managing her life.

Learned counsel for the opposite party has been heard.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is a lady and has no source of income and it is not possible for her to visit Darbhanga on each and every date to contest the divorce case and that the opposite party will have no difficulty in contesting and pursuing his divorce case in Begusarai, the Matrimonial (Divorce) Case No. 52 of 2017 is transferred from the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Darbhanga to the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Begusarai.

The records of Matrimonial (Divorce) Case No. 52 of 2017 should be immediately sent by the Principal Judge, Family Court, Darbhanga to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Begusarai.

Let a copy of this order be communicated to the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Darbhanga and the Principal Judge, Family Court, Begusarai through FAX.
