The petitioner seeks bail in Kuchaikote P.S. Case No.81 of 2020 registered under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that 10.6 litres of illicit liquor is said to have been recovered from the possession of Ramesh Prasad and 35.6 litres of illicit liquor was recovered from the joint house of the petitioner. Petitioner was not apprehended on the spot. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in jail since 14.06.2020. Petitioner has already remained in jail for more than 4 1⁄2 months.

Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28210 of 2020(2) dt.02-11-2020 2/2 bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge II, Gopalganj in connection with Kuchaikote P.S. Case No.81 of 2020.
