The petitioner seeks bail in Bidupur P.S. Case No. 39 of 2012, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B, 201 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.
The informant Ram Babu Paswan made allegation that the petitioner and other in-laws of his daughter killed his daughter Rekha Devi within two years of her marriage and the dead body was disposed of.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Rekha Devi was ill and she was treated by Dr. Shradhanand and the case has been compromised.
Be that as it may, it appears that the deceased was married to the petitioner in the month of February, 2010 and she
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34607 of 2014 (3) dt.15-01-2015 was killed within two years of her marriage and the father of the deceased was not even informed. Her dead body was disposed of, hence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within one year from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, if the trial is not concluded the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail firstly before the court below.
