The petitioners are seeking the following reliefs:- "(i) Issuance of an order, direction or writ in the nature of certiorari to quash order dated 20.05.2013/08.07.2014 passed in Misc. Case No. 2/10-11 by Deputy Collector Land Reforms, Naugachiya, Bhagalpur (Respondent no. 5) whereby Deputy Collector Land Reforms

Patna High Court CWJC No.6467 of 2015(5) dt.19-02-2019 2/2 has disposed of Misc. Case No. 2/10-11 without passing any appropriate order or direction.

(ii) Issuance of an order, direction or writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue the rent receipt to the petitioners of the land in question on the basis of old survey report prepared and published in the year 1909-10, from 2009 to till the publication of the Revisional Survey or Mini Survey."

The petitioners, in my view, can approach the competent authority under the appropriate provisions of the Bihar Land Disputes Resolution Act, 2009, Bihar Right to Public Service Act, 2011 or the Bihar Right to Public Grievance Redressal Act, 2015, as the case may be.

If the petitioners approach the competent authority for their grievance(s), the Court expects an expeditious disposal thereof. The petitioners shall be at liberty to seek status quo order from the competent authority.
