JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 21-10-2020 The present petition has been filed for modification of the order dated 11.06.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 10787 of 2020 to the extent that the time granted to the petitioner to surrender before the learned court below, which has already stood expired, be extended.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that on account of the prevailing situation in view of the COVID- 19 Pandemic, the petitioner could not surrender before the learned court below within the stipulated period of four weeks, however, he undertakes to surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from today. No.26776 of 2020(2) dt.21-10-2020 2/2 case, considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and taking into account the averments made in the present petition, I deem it fit and proper to extend the time granted to the petitioner earlier, to surrender before the learned court of Additional District & Sessions Judge 2nd cum Special Judge Excise Act, Madhubani, in connection with Jaynagar P.S. Case No. 151 of 2019 corresponding to G.R. No. 604 of 2019, by a further period of four weeks from today. Accordingly, the order dated 11.06.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 10787 of 2020 stands modified to the aforesaid extent.

The petition stands disposed of.
