The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Jakkanpur P.S. Case no. 397 of 2018, registered under Sections 384, 341, 323, 406, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The accusation is that petitioner took Rs. 81,346/- as a loan from the informant, namely, Raj Kumar on assurance to return the same in installments, but when informant approached to the petitioner to return the money then petitioner abused to the informant and refused to pay the said money, rather, he demanded Rs. Ten Lakhs as ransom giving threatening to kill his whole family.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32991 of 2019(2) dt.21-05-2019 2/2 fact, the petitioner and informant are living in same mohalla and due to dirty politics, the petitioner has been implicated in this case with false allegation of making demand of ransom from the informant. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the A.C.J.M. Patna in connection with Jakkanpur P.S. Case No. 397 of 2018, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C. (Rajendra Kumar Mishra, J) manish/- U T
