JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 07-12-2023 The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of a direction to the respondents to grant award in respect of land expropriated by the government in exercise of its power for the purpose of broadening / construction of road.

2. However, after some argument, learned counsel for the petitioner requests for disposal of the writ petition granting liberty to the petitioner to file representation alongwith necessary document in support of his claim before the Land Acquisition Officer, Motihari, District- East Champaran / competent authority.

3. The writ petition stands disposed of with liberty, as

Patna High Court CWJC No.9518 of 2023(2) dt.07-12-2023 2/2 indicated above. If such representation is filed within a period of six weeks from today, the same shall be disposed of after hearing the parties in accordance with law preferably within a period of six months from the date of filing of such representation.

4. It goes without saying that if any question of limitation arises before the authority concerned, the same shall be considered taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner was pursuing the issue before this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

5. With aforesaid direction, the writ application stands disposed of.
