2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 896 of 2022 arising out of Saraiya P.S. Case No. 10 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 307, 395, 397 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, on 4.1.2022, six unknown miscreants looted Punjab National Bank, Bashantpur Patti Branch by wrongfully confining the Bank's staff on gun point and thereafter fled away with the looted money.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 22.3.2022.

5. The dacoits were chased, and in that chase, the petitioner was caught and handed over to the police.

6. Considering the fact that the petitioner has participated in the bank dacoity in a broad day light and he was caught while fleeing, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
