The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special Case No. 4382/2020 arising out of Shahpur P.S. Case No. 258/2020 instituted for the offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. 80 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from beneath the driver seat of a tempo vehicle. The petitioner is alleged to be the driver of that vehicle. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is not the driver of any tempo vehicle and he is in custody since 13.07.2020.

Considering the afore-stated facts, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Patna, in connection with Special Case No. 4382/2020 arising out of Shahpur P.S. Case No. 258/2020.
