====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 12-07-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 8, 20, 22 and 25 of the NDPS Act. This is the third attempt of the petitioner to seek regular bail.

A report was called for from the learned trial court. The report has been received vide letter no. 234 dated 01.07.2023 wherein it has been recorded that out of four witnesses, three have been examined and only one witness remains to be examined.

In view of the report submitted by the learned trial court, the Court is not inclined to release the petitioner on bail in connection with Doriganj P.S. Case No. 150 of 2021 pending in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33432 of 2023(3) dt.12-07-2023 2/2 the Court of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Saran at Chapra/successor Court.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, the learned trial court is directed to ensure that the trial of the case is concluded preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
