Petitioner seeks payment of difference of family pension of his deceased mother Phul Kumari Devi for the period 01.04.1997 till the date of death of his mother dated 28.01.2018 with statutory interest, revision of family pension as sanctioned by the office of the Accountant General vide P.P.O. dated 22.09.2014 as contained in Annexure-3. In spite of the fact that P.P.O. having been issued to the Treasury Officer, East
Patna High Court CWJC No.9669 of 2019(2) dt.06-05-2019 2/2 Champaran at Motihari still payment of the family pension has not been credited in the S.B.I. account maintained by the petitioner in the Turkauliya Branch at East Champaran, Motihari. It has been submitted that the respondent no. 2 has already sent the authority as per the revised P.P.O. to the Branch Manager, State Bank of India, Turkauliya Branch, East Champaran, Motihari vide letter no. 16 dated 05.01.2015 but as yet no payment has been accounted in the account of the petitioner.
Considering the nature of claim made by the petitioner, the respondent no. 5, the Branch Manager, State Bank of India, Turkauliya Branch, East Champaran at Motihari would credit the revised P.P.O. amount duly authorized by the Treasury Officer, East Champaran at Motihari way back on 05.01.2015 in the account of the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt/production of the copy of this order.
