1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.P.P. for the State.
2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Harlakhi P.S. Case No.95 of 2024 instituted under Section 306 of the B.N.S., 2023.
3. As per the prosecution case, it is alleged by the informant, namely, Shahida Khatoon that on 08.04.2024 due to family dispute for purchasing clothes, the daughter of the informant tore the currency note of Rs. 2,500/- and for that the father-in-law and mother-in-law of the daughter of informant came at her house and narrated the incident. On 09.04.2024 at about 02:30 P.M. the informant received information that her
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32581 of 2026(3) dt.17-07-2026 2/3 daughter had died. When the informant alongwith his family members reached at the matrimonial house of her daughter, she found her daughter dead by hanging herself.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are innocent and being in-laws, they have been falsely implicated in this case. The marriage of the deceased with the son of the petitioners is solemnized in the year 2020 and they have a son. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that deceased was short tempered and she had committed suicide. He further submits that previously there was no allegation against the petitioners except the suspicion. There is no material available against the petitioners. Petitioners are old persons aged about 80 and 83 years respectively. They have no criminal antecedent and they undertake to cooperate in the trial and investigation of the case.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the nature of allegation, submissions of learned counsel for the parties, advance age of the petitioners as well as their clean antecedent, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioners be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of

No.32581 of 2026(3) dt.17-07-2026 3/3 Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount to each to the satisfaction of the learned Munsiff, Benipatti in connection with Harlakhi P.S.
