Petitioner seeks bail in Sikarhata P.S. Case No.41 of 2019 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
It is alleged that 127 litres illicit liquor has been recovered from the room meant for keeping husk situated in front of house of the petitioner.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that he has no concern with the aforesaid liquor.
Petitioner is in custody since 07.04.2019 having clean antecedents.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30162 of 2019(2) dt.08-05-2019 2/2 above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Excise Act, Bhojpur, Ara, in connection with Sikarhata P.S. Case No.41 of 2019, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.
