JUSTICE ANJANI KUMAR SHARAN ORAL ORDER 28-06-2023 The present application has been filed for modification of the order dated 20.04.2023, passed in Cr. Misc. No.9482/2023 to the extent that the name of father of petitioner no.1 may be directed to be modified as Sri Devki Sahni in place of Sri Ganesh Sahni, which has been inadvertently typed in the cause title page of the petition and also to the extent of extension of time to surrender in the court below.

It is submitted that in the cause title of the order dated 20.04.2023, father's name of petitioner no.1 has been wrongly mentioned as Sri Ganesh Sahni in place of Sri Devki Sahni and as such, the same may be corrected.

Considering the submission of learned counsel for the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35638 of 2023(2) dt.28-06-2023 2/2 petitioner, the order dated 20.04.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No.9482/2023 is hereby modified to the extent that the name of father of the petitioner no.1 at the cause-title portion be read as Devki Sahni.

Further, in the interest of justice, the period to surrender is extended by six weeks from today in connection with Piprahi P.S. Case No.235 of 2022, pending in the court of learned Exclusive Special Judge, Excise, Sheohar, subject to deposit of Rs.2000/- (Rs. Two Thousand) each in the Victim Compensation Fund, Bihar.

The order dated 20.04.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No.9482/2023 is modified to the extent as indicated above. Accordingly, this modification application stands disposed of.
