The petitioner is languishing in custody in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 384, 307, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

It is alleged against the petitioner that he demanded a ransom amount of Rs. 5 lakhs and also shot fire at the informant which did not hit him.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case. There is a land dispute between the parties. As per F.I.R, the gunshot firing did

For the alleged occurrence of 15.02.2023 the F.I.R has been registered on 17.02.2023 without explaining the delay. The petitioner is languishing in custody since 21.03.2023.

Learned A.P.P appearing on behalf of the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the period under custody, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousands) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st, Class, Darbhanga in connection with Singwara P.S. Case No. 33 of 2023.
