2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner informs that the substantial amount of retiral dues has been paid to the petitioner, however, the interest on the provident amount contributed during the period from 2020 till 2022 has not been paid to the petitioner.

3. Considering the aforesaid submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, the District Provident Officer, Sitamarhi is directed to forthwith call for the deduction statement, recalculate the same and make payment of the required interest at the specified government rate in accordance with law to the petitioner within a period of three weeks from the date of passing this order.

4. With the above observation/direction, the present writ petition is disposed of.
